GILLIAN 9th May 2021

Margaret was one of my only two cousins - she and Shirley being daughters of my father's only brother. The war kept us apart in early childhood but our teenage years are certainly vivid in my memory, especially on our outings with our two eccentric aunts. They provided us with a lot of laughs, and this has continued down the years. Although our meetings were infrequent telephone conversations were always very stimulating and kept me in touch with the activities of Nick, Ian, Jonathan and David. I am very sad, but privileged to have known such a strong woman.
